Lebanon and Israel Open Seventh Round of US-Sponsored Talks in Rome as Demolitions Continue in South Lebanon

Context

What are the "pilot zones" the talks are focused on?

Under the June 26 framework agreement, Israel evacuates designated areas of southern Lebanon and the Lebanese army deploys into them, with the arrangement conditioned on the disarmament of Hezbollah Yahoo!,20minutes. Hezbollah rejects the process and says it will continue "resistance" to recover villages held by Israeli forces, putting it at odds with the Lebanese government Yahoo!,20minutes.
