A special election was held in Georgia’s 14th Congressional District to replace former U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene after she left Congress earlier this year.
No candidate received a majority of the vote in the first round, triggering a runoff.
Republican Clay (Clayton) Fuller and Democrat Shawn Harris advanced to the runoff as the top two vote-getters.
The runoff election is scheduled for April 7.
Fuller was endorsed by President Donald Trump.
Harris is a retired U.S. Army brigadier general.
